Yardlong Bean and Wheat Rice Exclusive
Yardlong beans tossed with cornmeal and flour, steamed until tender, then dressed with garlic, vinegar and sesame oil for a rustic, nutty wheat rice.
Instructions
- 1

Select and wash the cowpeas, then cut them into small sections about 1 cm long.
- 2

Place the cowpeas in a large bowl, add cornmeal and flour, and a little salt and five-spice powder.
- 3

Add an appropriate amount of water and mix well, so that each cowpea is coated with flour.
- 4

Place it in a steamer lined with steamer cloth, and steam for about 10 minutes after the water boils and produces steam.
- 5

Mix mashed garlic, aged vinegar, sesame oil, and cold soy sauce to make a dressing.
- 6

Use chopsticks to fluff the steamed wheat rice.
- 7

Pour the sauce over and mix well, or you can stir-fry it in the pan with some oil before eating.
